Academic Background
Adrian completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration with a focus on International Management and Finance at the University of Cologne. During his studies, he spent a semester at Trinity College Dublin and for his Master's at Bocconi University in Milan. Since July 2024, Adrian has been pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Engelen at HHU Düsseldorf.
Professional Background
During his studies, Adrian completed internships in the areas of strategy and finance across various industries. Since 2022, he has been working for an international management consultancy in Cologne, focusing primarily on strategic issues in the industrial goods sectors.
Research Focus
Adrian is researching the impact of repeated entrepreneurial activity on the strategy, performance, and innovation capabilities of subsequent ventures (Serial Entrepreneurship). His study will utilize extensive secondary data.
