Academic Background
Borna holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the RWTH Aachen and a M.Sc. in Management Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University (Beijing, China). He is currently a doctoral candidate at the chair of Prof. Dr. Engelen at the HHU Düsseldorf.
Professional Background
During his studies, Borna completed various internships and projects in engineering and strategy consulting. Since 2022 he has been working for an international strategy consulting firm in Cologne. Here, Borna mainly served industrial clients on projects along the topics of strategy and corporate finance.
Research Focus
As part of his research, Borna investiages how the digitalization of new ventures impacts their success. He plans to work with secondary data.
