Academic Background
Carolin holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration as well as the Master in Management (Mc.Sc.) from the University of Mannheim with studies abroad at the Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina and the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Portugal. Since 2020 she is a doctoral candidate at the chair of Prof. Engelen at the HHU Düsseldorf.
Professional Background
During her studies, Carolin collected work experience in the financial industry and in the start-up environment. After completing her degree in 2018, she has been working for an international management consultancy in Berlin. As a research assistant at the HHU Düsseldorf, she is supporting a practical cooperation with a regional company.
Research Focus
In her research activities, Carolin focuses on the strategy process of cooperations with a focos on the role of the Chief Strategy Officer and its effects on company performance.
