Academic Background

Céline holds a B.Sc. degree in International Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and a M.Sc. degree in Managerial and Financial Economics from HEC Paris. She also successfully completed a Minor in Alternative Investments and the Honors Program 'Grand Challenges' at Erasmus University. As part of her studies, she spent a semester at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. Since April 2024, Céline has been doing her doctorate at the hhu at the Chair of Business Administration under Prof. Engelen.

Professional Background

During her studies, Céline completed various internships in banks and management consultancies, among others. After completing her M.Sc., Céline worked for two years for a real estate asset management & development company with a focus on shopping centers. She was mainly responsible for the strategic & operational management of three shopping centers in Germany. Since 2022, Céline has been working for an international management consultancy in Düsseldorf, focusing on topics in the industrial goods sector.

Research Focus

As part of her research activities, Céline examines the innovation behavior of established companies in the face of increasing internal or external pressure, e.g. from young companies, corporate or market crises. She plans to use extensive secondary data from various databases.
