Academic Background
Jan-Henrik holds double degrees in International Business from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (B.A.) and Kozminski University Warsaw (Licencjat) and obtained a M.Sc. in Management from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. In January 2024 Jan-Henrik started his PhD at the chair of Prof. Engelen at HHU Düsseldorf.
Professional Background
During his dual Bachelor's degree at a mobility service provider, Jan-Henrik gained experience in various areas of his partner company, including sales, HR, operations and business development. Further internships during his studies took him to management consulting, the media and retail industries and the German Bundestag. Jan-Henrik has been working for an international management consultancy in Hamburg since 2021. He is currently working as a research assistant at HHU Düsseldorf.
Research Focus
As part of his research activities, Jan-Henrik investigates the impact of business model innovations on the performance of firms and focuses, among other things, on the media industry. He plans to work with extensive secondary data.
