Academic Background

Lea holds a B.Sc. in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and a M.Sc. in International Management/CEMS from RSM and Bocconi University. Additionally, she spent an exchange semester at National Chengchi University Taipei. In October 2021, Lea started her doctoral studies at the Chair of Prof. Engelen at HHU.

Professional Background

During her studies, Lea completed internships in various industries with a focus on business management and financial advisory. Since 2019 she has been working for an international management consultancy in Munich, working on sustainability and strategic workforce planning related client projects. Lea is currently a research assistant at HHU and as part of her role works as a coach for the Montréal project module.

Research Focus

In her research activities, Lea investigates the role of CEO characteristics in the implementation of their firm’s sustainability strategy and linked firm performance outcomes. She plans to work with extensive secondary data.
