Academic Background
Since October 2021, Thomas has been working on his doctorate at the chair of Prof. Engelen at HHU. Prior to this, he completed a M.Sc. in Management at the University of Mannheim. Thomas also holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and studied at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and Universidad de Chile in Santiago de Chiles.
Professional Background
Currently, Thomas works as a research assistant at HHU. Thomas has also been working at an international management consulting firm since Oktober 2019. Here, he supported global corporates and startups on topics regarding digital business building, internationalization- and growth strategies as well as transformations. Previously, Thomas gained experience in different consultancies, tech-companies, and startups.
Research Focus
As part of his research, Thomas investigates the effect of corporate venture capital on ventures’ marketing capabilities. For this, Thomas works with secondary data.
