Academic Background
Frederik holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Münster and a M.Sc. from the Copenhagen Business School. He is currently doing his doctorate at the chair of Prof. Engelen at the HHU Düsseldorf.
Professional Background
During his studies, Frederik completed various internships in consulting, M&A and also gained experiences in the startup environment. Since 2020 he has been working for an international management consultancy in Hamburg. He is currently enrolled as a research associate at HHU Düsseldorf.
Research Focus
As part of his research, Frederik focuses at the interface between entrepreneurship, strategic management and finance. He investigates the impact of competitive dynamics on Corporate Venture Capital.
