Linh Phan

Academic Background

Linh holds a Master in Management (M.Sc.) at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. She completed her bachelor's degree at the International School of Management in Frankfurt. During her studies, she lived in France and the United States. She has been doing her PhD at HHU Düsseldorf with Prof. Engelen since 2019.

Professional Background

Linh completed internships in management consulting and a bank in Frankfurt during her studies. Since completing her studies, she has worked for an international management consultancy in Munich. She is currently registered as an external doctoral student at HHU Düsseldorf.

Research Focus

Linh's research deals with the characteristics of a Chief Technology Officer and how they affect the R&D intensity, innovative ability and profitability of a company over time. She plans to work with secondary data.
