Academic Background
Daniel holds a B.Sc. in Political Economics and an M.Sc. in Economics with a focus on empirical labor market research and public policy from the University of Heidelberg. During his studies, he conducted research at the Centre for European Economic Research Mannheim, in the Redistribution & Social Policy research group, amongst others. Currently, he is doing his doctorate at the chair of Prof. Engelen at the HHU Düsseldorf.
Professional Background
During his studies, Daniel completed various internships in public institutions, companies and management consultancies. Since 2017, he has been working for an international management consultancy in Düsseldorf. He is currently a research assistant at the HHU Düsseldorf.
Research Focus
Daniel's research focuses on the development of (young) organizations under public influence, as well as the exchange of best practices between the private and public sectors. Daniel works with extensive secondary data.
