Academic Background
Ruslan holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Cologne in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and a Bachelor of Science from Ternopil National Economic University (Ukraine) in Economics with a focus on International Trade. He then completed a Master's degree at the University of Mannheim with a focus on Finance. Since February 2022 Ruslan is writung his PhD at the chair of Prof. Engelen at HHU.
Professional Background
During his studies, Ruslan completed various internships in management consulting and the public sector. Since 2020, he has been working for an international management consulting in Cologne. He is currently enrolled as a research associate at HHU Düsseldorf, supporting a practical cooperation project.
Research Focus
In his research Ruslan focuses on the causality relation between startups' business models and their (monetary) performance. Ruslan plans to work with extensive secondary data.
